So on Sunday I went to the Melbourne International Film Festival at Acmi with my class to watch Summer Wars. The storyline is kind of hard to explain but what made it so awesome was that the animation was absolutely incredible! Reminded me of Murakami x Spirited Away animation. And the avatar characters were so freaking cute! Check out the trailer here ^^
I'm gonna make sure I go to these international films in the future :)
This film got me thinking about my major project. I still haven't decided what I'm doing yet :S Leaning towards
exploring the relationship with animation and graphic design. Sounds kind of theoretical compared to what the others are doing...they all have client jobs!
ARGH ... not many weeks left to decide!
